Know More About, Regenerative Therapy

The core of regenerative treatments can be classified by primary product categorizations:

  • hyaluronic acid (HA),
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP),
  • Bone marrow concentrate (BMC), and
  • Adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (AD-MSC)

The procedure is done in operation theatre under local anesthesia. The patient lies on the back or on the stomach. Blood, bone marrow or adipose tissue from patient is taken and processed in centrifuge machine to obtain the regenerative treatment of choice and with help of small needle is injected into the patient spine/ joint under imaging guidance.

All regenerative treatments are specifically tailored to control and target the patients’ region of pain- spine, knee , shoulder or hip.

All of these procedures take less than 1 hour. After the procedure is over the patient is shifted to recovery room and monitored for any postoperative complications/ drug reactions for 2 hours.

There are minimal side affects when the procedure is performed after adequate preparation and under imaging guidance by skilled hands.

Knee

  1. Percutaneous BMC Infiltration to Treat ACL Injuries
  2. Percutaneous Infiltration of Meniscal Tear with PRP
  3. Percutaneous Subchondral Knee Procedure
  4. AD-MSC for knee joint osteoarthritis

Shoulder

  1. PRP/ BMC for Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy
  2. PRP/BMC for Glenohumeral Osteoarthritis

Spine

  1. Intradiscal platelet rich plasma (PRP) and
  2. Intra-discal mesenchymal stromal/stem cell (MSC) therapies
  3. Intradiscal Autologous Bone Marrow Cells
  4. Intra articular facet joint injection of PRP/ BMC
